50th Birthday Tea Party at Erika's

Wow! Food never looked so good or tasted so good as it did 8/9/10 at Erika Price's house at our garden tea party. Her sister Miriam Padilla flew in from Arizona to add her gourmet flair and hard work to the event. Here are pictures as words are not enough to describe the day.

It is Tea Time!

My friend Erika is giving me a Tea Party for my 50th Birthday Party! How lucky am I?! I feel like the Queen of England (only I have a better life...no press to worry about except this blog). I wanted something special and leave it to Erika to make it so. I will take pictures and post them after the happy day has arrived and passed.

Annie Get Your Gun at the Scera

Opening night finally came. Here are two pictures from the Monday night after opening. I forgot to zoom in for Caroline's picture so don't go looking for your reading glasses just yet. Better pictures to come after Thursday night. Actually, you can double click on the picture and that solves the reading glasses problem. That gives you a larger picture. Caroline is the girl with the yellow and green dress in the front towards the left side of the picture. She is pointing her finger in the air and saying "General Grant?" In the top picture, Eric is playing Buffalo Bill and is upstage center with the gold fringe coat. He has gone a little grey in this role. Must be from trying to remember whether to say "hit" or "miss" during the shooting matches.

Reading to Paul

Eric caught Paul and me in a quiet moment of reading. "The Little Auto" by Lois Lenski is a favorite and any Sandra Boynton book. "Good-night Gorilla" is fun for Paul to read because he can read all of the GOOD NIGHTS in the book. In these pictures we are reading "Horton Hears a Who."

Paul's Bread

Here are pictures of Paul making bread. He loves it! Glad to know that pouring can be put to good use.
